In our case, we are talking about setting up the Server-to-Server integration (S2S). To set up the S2S integration, it is essential to use the Business Manager (BM). If your account is shared with social media networks, the pixel setup will not be possible! Two conditions must be met:


  1. The pixel is in the BM.

  2. The ad account is in the same BM.

Let's get started! Facebook has made some changes during the setup. Now, instead of creating pixels, we create DATASETS. The essence hasn’t changed, but you’ll need to press different buttons :) In the Facebook Business Manager, go to the "Datasets" tab and create a new dataset (this is the same as the pixel).

1. After creating, open the pixel in the Event Manager.

2. Click “Set Up Conversions API.”

3. Choose Set up manually.

4. Click Continue.

5. Select View Content and Purchase, then click Continue.

6. For each event, choose Client IP Address (scroll down).

7. Confirm the selection.

8. Click Finish.

9. Go to the settings of your dataset, scroll down, and find Generate new token — click it.

10.This token is needed for setting up the offer in the Mobstra account. Copy it and go to Mobstra.

11. Choose the desired offer, create a campaign with the Direct link type.

12. Be sure to select a domain for creating the link (this can be your domain/subdomain). If necessary, enter the postback/GTM container.

13. Check the pixel visibility through the Pixel Helper using your link and start working.

13. If you are working through a tracker, make sure to include the fbclid macro in the link from Mobstra, so we can accept the value and later return it! Ensure that Keitaro sends the value to this macro in our link.

Next, in the Social Integration section, select Facebook, Server, Purchase. Add the copied token from Facebook to the Access token field and the ID of our dataset to the Facebook ID Pixel field. Create the campaign and copy the link from the live campaigns for subsequent addition to the tracker when necessary (Keitaro, Binom, etc.).
